On behalf of The California Association for Alcohol/Drug Educators (CAADE), we would like to extend a warm invitation to join us for CAADE Conference 2022. CAADE has held its annual conference for over 34 years, staying true to our mission of “promoting and supporting quality higher education in addiction studies”. This year’s event is especially exciting as it will promote the themes; Case Management, DSM5, MI, MAT, Documentation.


The 2022 CAADE conference will be held Friday, September 16 to Sunday September 18 at the Los Angeles Burbank Marriott Hotel 2500 Hollywood Way, Burbank California. We are proud to say our conference draws attendees from numerous fields and professions, including:

Participants will receive training in Laws and Ethics as it applies to SUD and Co-Occurring Disorder treatment. Participants will be able to identify and apply the varying concepts and components of Case Management, Documentation, DSM-5, Motivational Interviewing, and Medication Assisted Treatment. Trainings with be provided at collegiate level in Laws and Ethics as it pertains to addiction counselors. Attendees shall be able to identify and apply the key concepts in a wide variety of behavioral health modalities. Along with the many established clinicians, educators and administrators in attendance, we are especially proud of the high number of Addiction Studies students that come from colleges/universities throughout California for the educational excellence that only our conference can offer. Our conference offers a unique marketing and networking opportunity, allowing your organization to be seen by hundreds of professionals.

Joint Accreditation Statement

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Amedco LLC and CA Association for Alcohol/Drug Educators (CAADE). Amedco LLC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Nurses (ANCC) Credit Designation

Amedco LLC designates this activity for a maximum of 17.0 ANCC contact hours.

MA / MFTs: Participants can self-submit courses not approved by the MAMFT board for review.

The following state boards accept courses from APA providers for Addictions Professionals: AK, AR, CO, CT, DC, DE, GA, IA, IN, KS, LA, MD, MO, MT, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NM, NY (outstate held), OK*, OR, SC, UT, WA, WI, WY * OK accepts APA credit for live, in-person activities.
